Job Brief:

Are you a tech-savvy accounting pro tired of the daily commute? Unloop Accounting (a brand under Outgive Inc.) is looking for an ambitious E-Commerce Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting for our growing list of clients and help automate our services using modern accounting tech.

Schedule & Work Setup:

Work Location: 100% Remote (Philippines)
Working Hours: 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM EST (Core Hours for real-time collaboration with the team/clients), with flexible working hours for the remaining shift requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle eCommerce clients’ monthly bookkeeping in QBO and Xero.
Categorize transactions, bank reconciliations, COGS calculation and analysis, generate financial reports, KPIs, run payroll, manage AP and AR aging.
Using technology, ensure Amazon, Shopify, and other sales channels are connected to QBO or Xero and that data is flowing accurately.
Check-in with clients in their dedicated Slack channel and deliver their own deliverables on time.
Manage client deliverables and ensure deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
Document Unloop and client-specific procedures in ClickUp and continuously look for new ways to automate and streamline the accounting for clients.
Oversee relationships with clients. Ensure client communication is clear, frequent, and tailored to business needs. Make improvements as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: At least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including transaction categorization, departmental bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
Software Skills: Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero.
Client Management: Experience managing a client portfolio and communicating effectively via written channels (text/messaging).
Core Accounting: Solid understanding of inventory and COGS accounting.
Tech-Savvy & Resourceful: Passionate about web-based software, automation, and independently solving challenges.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

Background in eCommerce or public accounting/client services.
Experience managing remote or international team members.
Philippine CPA certification.
